I have a bone to pick with this fandom, and it’s the fact that Veronica Lodge cannot do anything without being vilified and crucified for it. 

I literally saw someone say that Veronica is underplaying Archie’s trauma, as if she hasn’t been the biggest source of support so far. 

All these characters can make a bunch of mistakes and it’s okay, because they are just flaws, but the moment Veronica Lodge does anything, it literally makes her the worst person on earth, according to this fandom. 

That’s the way it’s always going to be in this fandom. Everyone made up their minds about Veronica since episode one. They decided that she was conceited, mean, and annoying and since they are so closed minded and only want to see her that way that’s all she will ever be to the majority of this fandom. They don’t see that she is in fact the MOST supportive friend out of the core four. And yes she is a little self absorbed but that’s who she is in the comics! The writers have to bring a little bit of that personality into the character because then she truly wouldn’t be Veronica Lodge, the exact same way Jughead wouldn’t be Jughead if he wasn’t the smart guy who loves burgers, or Betty wouldn’t be Betty if she wasn’t a sweet person, and Archie wouldn’t be Archie if he didn’t love his friends and music. But anyway, this closed minded fandom will continue to judge and hate on Veronica while other characters actions will always be excused

I hate this fandom. Veronica deserves better.
