Archie Andrews has loved his father unconditionally since the beginning of the season and would do anything for him. Fred Andrews has been the most supportive parent, building an entire sound studio in his garage just to support his son even if the path he’s taking isn’t his favorite. Archie brought Fred home pizza after his date with Valerie. He was thinking of his dad even when he was with a girl. He always put his dad first. We see that when he doesn’t even hesitate to jump in front of a bullet for him. He loves that man. He held his father, bleeding out on the floor of Pops. He was there in that moment like there was no body else in the entire world that deserved his attention. We heard the silence in that scene. And that’s what Archie heard. Because what’s a world of sound without Fred Andrews
I don’t care what you say, you will never be able to convince me that FP didn’t at least offer to show Alice his ‘Southside Serpent’ in high school
Just imagine FP in his leather jacket, walking up to Alice in the hall. Fred, Mary and Hermione watching this train wreck from a few feet away. Imagine FP leaning against her locker and giving her a “famous Jones smirk.” Alice rolling her eyes and scoffing at him. “What do you want, FP?” She’s secretly intrigued as to what lame pick up line he’s gonna use this time. Then in the middle of the hall in Riverdale High. He says it. For Everyone to hear.
“How about we hang out tonight and I’ll let you see my SouthSide serpent?”
Silence fills the halls. Then Fred lets out a laugh only to get hit by Hermione and Mary. But What made it 10 times better is what Alice says in response.
“Come near me and I’ll strangle the snake.” With that, She leaves everyone gaping.
